Chatbot provider Watermelon has launched JesusPT (JPT), an app that would allow people to have a conversation with "the son of God," according to the press release. The company expects that the chatbot will have many conversations this Pentecost weekend.

According to Watermelon, people mainly text to confess. Users ask questions about Bible passages or ask for messages from God. They also want an explanation of the Bible or of faith. Our Company claims that the app based on GPT-4 is already in use in forty countries.

“What sets the Jesus chatbot apart from all other chatbots is that this bot is designed with the features of Jesus. The answers show empathy and compassion. In addition, the chatbot has theological knowledge, the app offers spiritual guidance and the app understands contextual information,” says Watermelon, which previously also developed a Sintbot. The Jesus bot can be reached by entering +31 85 401 6312 on your phone and then opening WhatsApp. (Watermelon)
