Christian Bornfeld will leave ABN AMRO as CIO/CTO on 1 May 2022. The bank has already started the search for a new CI&TO. Bornfeld has, according to ABN AMRO CEO Robert Swaak, been one of the driving forces behind the digitization process of the bank.
In addition, the bank has announced that Jorissa Neutelings will be the bank's new chief digital officer (CDO). She was commissioned to further develop 'a personal bank in a digital age'. Neutelings succeeds Frank Verkerk; Neutelings previously spent more than five years at the helm of the digital innovation & IT branch of the energy company Vattenfall.
