TP Netherlands announces reorganization

TP Netherlands announces reorganization

TP Nederland announces a reorganization. The reorganization affects a portion of the existing staff, support, and management positions. TP employees were informed about this today.

The reason for the reorganization is the rapidly changing market in which TP operates. Clients expect structural innovation, higher productivity, and greater flexibility, while simultaneously reconsidering how and where services are performed. In addition, demand is increasingly shifting towards blended delivery models in which onshore, nearshore, and offshore capacity are combined based on factors including language, regulations, quality, availability, and costs.

This development creates new growth opportunities for TP as a whole, but at the same time has consequences for the size, composition, and structure of the organization in the Netherlands. In addition, new business activities require time to scale up further.

To remain strong and future-proof in the longer term, TP is therefore adjusting its Dutch organization. As a result, a number of positions within the staff, support, and management layers are becoming redundant. These employees were all spoken to individually today. The employees who handle direct customer contact — the customer advisors — are excluded from this reorganization. The Works Council was involved in the preparation of this decision in a timely and careful manner. The Works Council has given positive advice regarding the proposed reorganization.

During the reorganization, TP is following the applicable legal procedures. Employees whose positions are affected have been personally informed about their situation, possible next steps, and available support. The existing TP social plan applies to the colleagues concerned; this plan was agreed upon last year in good consultation with the three trade unions (FNV, CNV, Qlix), who gave their positive approval.

Within this social plan, TP applies a compensation factor of 1,7. In addition, TP makes a budget available for guidance towards alternative employment, or for an investment in personal development through study or retraining. A contribution is also made available for legal support. In this way, TP attempts to structure the conclusion as carefully and reasonably as possible, despite the impact this decision has on the colleagues involved.

Broader transformation of TP

TP is one of the leading global players in digital business services. The adjustment of the Dutch organization is taking place within this international group and against the backdrop of a broader transformation of TP. TP is shifting from a model primarily based on capacity, hours, and seats to designing, transforming, and executing technology- and AI-enabled operations.

In this process, AI is increasingly taking over routine and analytical tasks, while human judgment, empathy, responsibility, quality assurance, and escalation remain essential and continue to be handled by humans. A growing portion of customer contact is handled digitally or enhanced by AI, supporting employees rather than replacing them.

TP therefore also invests in training and reskilling. The combination of innovation, AI, and (international) sourcing should offer customers structurally better quality, more flexibility, and improved productivity.
