Founders pull the plug on KALEPA

KalepaKALEPA, the Flemish consultancy firm founded by Yves Van Vaerenbergh, Dirk Frans, Christel Pletinckx, and Annelies Costers, has ceased its activities at the initiative of the founders. Van Vaerenbergh announced this via LinkedIn.

Van Vaerenbergh indicates that the set goals were not achieved within the intended timeframe. KALEPA was launched during the COVID-19 pandemic, a period in which companies scaled back their budgets.

The increased economic uncertainty following the start of the war in Ukraine also hampered long-term CX investments, according to Van Vaerenbergh. Many companies have recently shifted their focus from CX to AI. And finally, internally developed products and services were not adopted by the market, Van Vaerenberg stated in his declaration.
