KSF board nominates Martijn Tomassen as board member on behalf of suppliers

Last week, the KSF board nominated Martijn Tomassen (YoungCapital) for appointment as a board member representing suppliers. Tomassen has been nominated for the vacancy created by the departure of Ellen Verheijen.

Verheijen accepted a position outside the customer contact sector earlier this year, and as a result, her seat on the board has become vacant. The current board recognizes Tomassen a candidate who not only has a clear vision of the course KSF has set, but who can also make a valuable contribution to realizing it based on his personal qualities, managerial experience, and expertise.

Tomassen studied Strategy & Leadership at the TIAS School for Business and Society and Marketing at TIO University of Applied Sciences in Utrecht. He began his career at Randstad and subsequently held commercial positions at Sandd, Joblift, and Monster, among others. Since 2025, he has been CCO & CMO at YoungCapital.

The nomination was arrived at after a careful process in which interviews were conducted with multiple candidates, the KSF states. In accordance with the statutes and the internal regulations, members may jointly nominate additional candidates. This is possible until Friday morning, May 22, at 11:59 AM.

After the close of this term, a digital vote will follow regarding the nominated candidate or candidates. The result of this vote is subsequently ratified by the General Meeting, whereby the elected candidate is also formally appointed as a board member.
