Five9, provider of cloud-based routing software, has announced that the platform will also be available from two data centers in Frankfurt and Amsterdam. With these two new public cloud locations, Five9 wants to specifically target customers from the European Union, other European countries, the Middle East and Africa.
The expansion is also intended to support the growth in the number of customers and to give customers control over their own data. At the moment, Europe accounts for about ten percent of turnover, but the company wants to double that, CEO Rowan Trollope told Reuters.
Five9 has also announced that the activities in Russia (where development work was done, among other things) will be moved to Portugal. Last year, the company took over Zoom. (Reuters)
