Coinbase:, the cryptocurrency platform, has acquired AI-powered customer service startup Agara. With this, the company wants to further expand the recently established tech hub in India, so that personalized, intelligent and real-time support can be offered to customers.
Agara, founded in 2017, has about 40 employees. The company has clients such as Salesforce, Shopify, and Twilio, but after the acquisition, the company will focus primarily on Coinbase. According to various sources, that company has recently invested heavily in improving the customer experience and the number of support staff has increased fivefold. The crypto company wants to have realized 24/7 customer service by the end of the year.
