The American BPO service provider Ibex is starting operations in Egypt. To this end, the company has set up what it describes as a state-of-the-art service delivery center in Cairo for clients in sectors such as healthcare technology, technology, and retail.

The company wants to recruit a thousand new employees over the next nine months. According to the Ibex CEO Bob Dechant Egypt has a unique combination of a young, multilingual, and well-educated workforce, and the region boasts a good location, a rapidly developing digital infrastructure, and a stable business climate supported by the government.

The new ibex delivery center in Cairo is located in the City Stars complex in Nasr City, Cairo. Operations start in October, and customer service representatives, managers, team leaders, QA staff, and other staff members are currently being recruited.

Ibex currently has 38.000 human CX experts, distributed across 31 delivery centers in 9 countries, including the US, the Philippines, Jamaica, India, and Pakistan. The company realized a revenue of over 600 million dollars in 2025.
