The bot was announced during a Facebook event at the Anne Frank House. It can be used immediately on Facebook Messenger. According to the social network, the Anne Frank House is one of the first museums to offer an interactive chatbot on Messenger. According to Facebook, the bot is self-learning, for which artificial intelligence is used. This teaches the bot to recognize the context of questions, so that specific answers can be generated. The Anne Frank chatbot was developed by msg.ai (currently netomi.com), a company that specializes in bots for Facebook Messenger, Twitter, WhatsApp and other services.
