Amazon Web Services (AWS) has acquired NLX, a no-code platform for designing and launching conversational AI flows, to accelerate the deployment of no-code conversational AI in Amazon Connect.
With the acquisition of NLX, founded in 2018 in New York, aims AWS Enabling enterprises to implement AI-driven self-service experiences within weeks instead of months, without the traditional technical bottlenecks that slow down contact center AI rollouts.
NLX’s no-code platform is now being integrated into Amazon Connect. This enables business teams to independently build and deploy AI solutions. AWS emphasizes that this acquisition shortens time to value for customers and maintains the scalability and reliability the market demands.
The acquisition fits into a broader trend in which CCaaS vendors are accelerating their AI capabilities. AWS, regarded by Gartner and Forrester as the market leader in scalability and AI architecture, has scored lower on AI orchestration until now. With NLX, AWS aims to close this gap and catch up with competitors such as Genesys and NICE, which are already focusing heavily on no-code solutions for non-technical users.
