Vishing (the v stands for Voice) is a combination of abuse of a cloned voice and social engineeringVishing involves someone posing as someone they know over the phone, using their voice. The goal is for the contacted person to gain their trust and then obtain confidential information, such as login credentials or PIN numbers.
