Multi-turn interactions

Multi-turn interactions

by Erik Bouwer

Multi-turn interactions are interactions that involve a series of back-and-forth exchanges between a user and the LLMagent takes place to complete a task. The system maintains context and memory throughout the entire conversation, enabling more natural, human-like dialogues where the AI can understand references to previous parts of the conversation and build on previous exchanges. An example of a multi-turn interaction is: "Book a flight for me." This should be followed up with clarifying questions the AI asks about data, destinations and preferences, to ultimately complete a complex booking process through an ongoing dialogue.
