Large Language Model (LLM)

Large Language Model (LLM)

by Erik Bouwer

A Large Language Model refers to a form of artificial intelligence capable of processing and reproducing human language. One application of an LLM is generative AI.

LLMs are trained on large data sets and use neural networks, particularly transformer architectures, which are effective at understanding context and nuances in language. The models are capable of performing tasks such as text generation, summarizing, translating, and question answering. They can be further refined for specific knowledge areas or based on human feedback.
