A delivery center refers to the location (often an office environment) where specific processes are performed, whether or not for third parties. Think of software development, customer contact or back office processes. The term is widely used in offshore and nearshore outsourcing. In those cases, a service provider can have its own (head) office and a delivery center where the actual services take place.
