ContactCare's new office in Eindhoven opened yesterday. This is the result of the successful acquisition of WEngage Nederland, which was declared bankrupt on October 7th of this year. Most of the clients have joined the company.

According to Wim Vintges, who is involved in the practical organization of the restart, all parties involved responded quickly and effectively after the bankruptcy. The bankruptcy itself took Vintges by surprise and left him deeply affected, but he finds the fact that some of the former WEngage employees provided support during the relaunch significant. He also sees a good fit in terms of DNA and customer contact vision between the former WEngage Nederland and ContactCare.

Services under pressure

Jasper Meerding, founder of ContactCare, briefly reflected on the past period: in just two months, a fresh start has been made and prospects have been created for 23 of the 25 clients who remained on board. This is remarkable, as staffing agencies had already begun to draw on staff, putting pressure on the continuity of service provision. Besides the conversations with employees (who were deeply saddened) and clients, the technology also proved to be a significant challenge in the restart, according to Meerding. A large number of systems had to be integrated, and a great deal of hard work was put into moving everything on time and ensuring the new location complied with ISO certification. "Now we're going to do our best to prove ourselves to the clients who joined us."

New location at NS station

Meerding believes the choice of a new office—the floor formerly occupied by American Express, a stone's throw from Eindhoven train station—will help ease the fresh start. "Just like our office in Amersfoort, this is a pleasant and homely environment that people enjoy coming to," says Meerding.

ContactCare's customer contact for clients is currently split between its Amersfoort and Eindhoven locations. The Amersfoort building will be replaced by a smaller location next spring, partly due to the increased number of people working from home. Meerding also plans to open its second location in Paramaribo in February 2026.
