Social Value CenterCarlo de Boer (Klantcontact.nu) will start on January 31 with a new customer contact center where customer contact employees will actually gain practical experience in the line after completing the Customer Contact Employee Training from Skillboosters. De Boer announced this on LinkedIn.

The new KCC of Carlo de Boer will be called the Social Value Center. De Boer starts by absorbing part of the traffic from the KCC of the municipality of Leeuwarden: this specifically concerns questions about municipal taxes.

In a period of three months, six employees with a distance to the labor market, who do so via Skill boosters are trained, follow the line, while retaining benefits (unemployment benefit or social assistance). They receive intensive guidance within Social Value Center, De Boer explains to Ziptone. This will initially be a pilot with the municipality of Leeuwarden. If the pilot is successful, De Boer also wants to set up the concept in other regions of the country. De Boer notices that the labor market for customer contact employees is still overheated is, but also sees that clients prefer to look for employees who have already made progress.

Skillboosters has been active in training this target group for about three years now. According to De Boer, 80 percent move on to a paid job within a month after completing the training program.

“As a 17-year-old boy, I worked at Cendris (NUON outbound) and dreamed of having my own customer contact center. Customer contact is in my DNA and it took a while, but after 12 years we finally succeeded!” said De Boer LinkedIn.
